[Awesome Center Redux]

okaay

I get the joke, it's kinda funny and the animation was of course better in this one, but to see the same jokes twice isn't as funny as the first time. I'd enjoy this bunches more if it was original (that was kind of ironic really).

I'm not a big fan of your stuff, but I respect your work and some stuff are quite funny but those reduxes are just pointless to me. Make something new, would you?

Somewhat entertaining

I love your timing with the jokes and those characters and I really love your style of drawing. This could be a great series, but it needs some work. I'd like to see this with some more advanced writing and not random humor like that. It got me thinking "what am I watching?". It's need some structure.

I also think you(/the voice actors) needs some time on doing the voices right. The girls voice was great, because it sounded natural. The others sounded tad forced, did you make them yourself? Try finding your range in your voice and try to make the voice as clear as possible without distorting it too much. It sounds sort of "blurry".

This isn't by any means a bad animation though. It was really entertaining, just a bit too random.

I must say, I haven't been this freaked out by a flash in a very long while. And for some weird reason I really liked this. It's artistic in a ... very obscure way.

This was hilarious, I laughed so much at this. I especially loved the ending where the peach clock talked to the audience.

But I didn't like the shading.. The shading was basically two lines, try work on that. And I realized after watching this, that you ARE Shadowwii2. By pointing out "I'm the kind of the portal" is kind of bigheaded to me. So in the middle of my after-smiling I looked at your name and my smile slowly faded away as I went: uungh..

Great flash though, it just had kind of a bitter aftertaste.

I just didn't want to bother with shading so much on this, I usually use totally different one, but decided to something quicker to do for this, as it's only 30 seconds long or so (counting my part).

And yep, I know, the main idea was the "King of the portal" title on Newgrounds anyway, not the thing that I got it for some reason, it could have been anyone else.

Pretty cool

Great choice of song, the animation really suited the song. I really loved how you used the clock as a real eye, I haven't seen that before.. at all. I really liked the bite animation with the clock too, that was the best part of the flash in my opinion.

Yet it lacked a lot of backgrounds and it got a little bit repetitive when you used the same graphics over and over. But this still makes one of the better clock day flashes I've seen so far!

[Easy Way Out]

Lovely work on the backgrounds, the black and the orange really worked together and I haven't seen a such concept in a looong while! It was really artistic, you really pulled that off well! I also like the work of the devil thing there too, nice twist.

Yet I do think you could have bettered the drawings in this and the graphics. It worked most of the time though. But then again, putting more time into the drawings themselves would take longer time and then this piece might wouldn't have been as long as it was. So I'm not quite sure if that's a good or a bad thing. But it could have been a little better so I'm giving you a nine.

But I remain entertained.

I only had two weeks to make this and I gave myself a week of storyboarding and a week of animating. If I could have had a third week to clean it up that would have been lovely but I didn't so oh well.

[Surface Texture]

Great masking

The work with textures and masks (?) were sweet. The whole idea was really artistic, yet I'd like to see more of it so it was kinda sad that it ended so quickly. Like I said, great masking but the animation looked a bit lazy. Instead of making the thing run or walk you made his leg grow and "hook shoot" itself from A to B. And that's where the 3 points fell of from my part.

okay, I'll explain that:

yes, masks were used, a whole bunch of them actually. even though it was a simple character, because the arms, legs, head, and torso all had different patterns on them, they each had to be done separately, frame by frame. plus the eyes but those were easy.

so if I animated him take two steps, which would probably take maybe 14 frames, I'd have to animate 14 leg frames, 14 arm frames, 14 torso, and 14 head, all in separate layers, which is like, 56 drawn frames for two steps of animation.

the movement in the black background part hopefully looked less lazy because that was all in one layer so it didn't take huge amounts of time :P

Heh, kinda funny

I really like the artwork in this and the jokes were kinda funny too. Yet, there were a few jokes I didn't get. And I suppose that's the bad thing about game parodies, especially when joking about it and the viewer hasn't played the game, they simply won't get it. And I'm one of them. Until next time, try make the jokes so that everyone gets them? Thanks!

Every VG parody usually implies that the person should play the game to get the jokes....If I'm gunna have to establish characters and background, I may as well make a original funny cartoon
